At the time, the popularity of the software Sage and Quickbooks was higher in the UK than in Australia. All this means, is that the requirement to be able to use that software is going to be higher in demand. All you, as a bookkeeper need to do, is to make sure that you are pro-efficient in that software.

People are still people. There’s certain skills that are niche, and you will be able to charge a premium if you have them and you can carve yourself out a very successful and profitable niche if you choose carefully.
